Hereford Pegasus avenge early season defeat at the hands of The Centurions

Hereford Pegasus 2 - 0 Cirencester Town
CIRENCESTER TOWN made the long journey to Hereford for the return fixture against HEREFORD PEGASUS and returned empty handed after their host scored a goal either side of the interval.
Both sides struggled to get a grip of the strong wind and heavy rain during the first quarter but moments before the interval the home side scored when an alert HARRY PITMAN latched onto the ball in the visitor’s box and managed to poke it home from close range.
Shortly after the hour mark ‘The Peggys’ added a second when JORDAN WILLIAMSON dived to head Isaac Cooper’s cross in from close range.
As the game was drawing to a close Cirencester had an effort cleared off the goal-line and a close-range shot go wide but it was too little too late and the hosts took the points.
