Chippenham Town 0 – 1 Cirencester Town
Cirencester produced a defiant performance to stifle the much vaunted Chippenham strike force and in added time scored the only goal of the game to take the three points.
After the initial sparring it was the hosts who settled first to enjoy more of the possession in the first half hour with the visitors having to rely on counter attacks but Cirencester finished the half strongly.
The second half was end to end in the early stages but as the half progressed Chippenham began to enjoy more possession once again forcing Cirencester into counter attacks.
With 8 minutes of normal time remaining Josh Langley produced a sensational, reaction save to thwart a firm close range header from Harry Grant as the home side pushed forward searching for a winner.
The Cirencester defence withstood the pressure and countered in added time as Zack Kotwica cut in from the right and slid the ball down the right channel for ADAM CONNOLLY to finish from a narrow angle.
