The Centurions return with the points despite being reduced to ten-men for 72-minutes

Uhlsport Hellenic League
Premier Division
Hereford Pegasus 0 - 4 Cirencester Town
Cirencester travelled to HEREFORD PEGASUS for an Uhlsport Hellenic League – Premier Division fixture - the second in their run of three successive ‘away’ fixtures in March – and were on the wrong end of a Red Card decision for the second time in five days, but despite this setback returned with the 3-points.
In warm weather the game started in lively fashion with both sides testing their opponents in the opening minutes but it was Cirencester that opened the scoring seven minutes into the match when a corner kick routine provided space for NICK PEARE to drive the ball into the net.
Eleven minutes later, following some unnecessary passing involving their backline, Ed Scott stretched to collect the ball and in so doing a home player tripped over his out-stretched leg and the Referee decided on a Red Card as punishment.
Cirencester re-organised and five minutes later a Harlie Price snap-shot from distance was pushed onto his cross-bar by ‘keeper Matt Gwynne.
The home side pressed but there was no further score at the interval and upon the re-start they continued to press but were finding it difficult to break through the resolute Cirencester defence.
Around the hour-mark Cirencester added a second goal following a corner kick and a delicate flick from HARLIE PRICE, and a few minutes later two clinical finishes in a minute from JACK HORRELL and RHYS WELLS made sure of the points despite the possession and pressure from the home side.
