Another Harlie Price hat-trick secures the 3-points

Uhlsport Hellenic League

Premier Division

Cirencester Town  3 - 1  Cribbs FC

The Centurions entertained CRIBBS FC at The Talent Hire Stadium in their opening fixture of 2026 and after conceding an early goal the home side responded to secure the 3-points with another hat-trick for the prolific Harlie Price.

In very cold conditions the home side nearly opened the scoring in the opening minutes but having survived the visitors soon showed they were here to play with some direct running and following a corner kick an early goal for LOUIE FARROW as he headed home at the back post.

Around the mid-point of the half the visitors ‘keeper, Aaron Greatbanks, pulled off a couple of tremendous saves to deny Jonty Welch and Harlie Price a leveller but The Centurions persevered and a few minutes later HARLIE PRICE equalised following a corner kick.

The game continued at a brisk pace up to the interval with both sides pushing forward but the home side creating the better chances and being denied by the goal-frame or goal-mouth blocks.

After the interval the home side pressed more consistently with Cribbs defending resolutely to deny them and countering quickly once they had possession but as the game was drawing to a close HARLIE PRICE headed a cross from the right flank in at the back-post to take the lead.

The final action of the match was a Penalty Kick that was awarded when Afonso Dias was tripped as he worked his way into the box – HARLIE PRICE stepped forward to confirm his hat-trick with a firm finish.
