'The Centurions' take the points in first match against 'The Saltmen'

Cirencester Town 5 - 1 Droitwich Spa
DROITWICH SPA were the latest visitors to The Talent Hire Stadium for this Hellenic League - Premier Division fixture and after conceding a goal mid-way through the first half the home side recovered to score five second-half goals to take the 3-points.
The match kicked-off in heavy rain but the players made light work of it as they set about their task to produce an end-to-end encounter.
Shortly after the mid-point of the half a Droitwich corner kick was cleared to a lurking SAM HURDMAN and he promptly volleyed it through the crowded goalmouth and into the net to open the scoring.
The home side came close to levelling several times but were still a goal down going to the interval but within a minute of the restart it was level as HARLIE PRICE finished from a few yards.
Encouraged by their breakthrough Cirencester pressed forward and shortly after the mid-point of the second half HARLIE PRICE added a second.
Four minutes later AIDAN BENNETT powered a header home at the back post and as the game entered the final 5-scheduled minutes HARLIE PRICE completed his hat-trick following a rehearsed corner kick move.
As the game drew to a close KYLE PITTS completed the scoring with a back post header.
