The Centurions brought down to earth by The Bricks

Pitching In Southern League
Division 1 Central
Hadley FC 1 - 0 Cirencester Town
The Centurions were back on the road, following four successive home matches, and after a two-hour plus journey across the country The Bricks of Hadley awaited them and it was the hosts that secured victory by the same score-line as last season.
It was a ‘scrappy’ match as neither side was allowed time on the ball - with lots of hurried passes and the occasional glimpse of passing football.
Cirencester started both halves well but were unable to break through a solid home defence that launched quick counter attacks and shortly before the mid-point of the second half the home side scored what proved to be the decisive goal as JORDAN EDWARDS headed home a cross from Alvin Kyeremeh.
Hadley were deserving of their win as they showed more desire on the day and restricted Cirencester with a hard-working performance.
