The Centurions bring back the points from Thame

Pitching In Southern League
Division 1 Central
Thame United 0 - 2 Cirencester Town
Following a comparatively short journey, Cirencester returned to action after a 3-week absence, and produced a solid display against a talented THAME UNITED team to bring back the 3-points on offer.
The Centurions opened their account after 12 minutes when GEORGE PEARE latched onto a loose ball, after home ‘keeper Archie Davis had blocked a strong Felix Miles effort, to drive it inside the left post.
The home side responded well to the setback and the game became end-to-end with a number of corner-kicks for both sides but no further goals before the interval.
The second half was just as frantic and shortly before the hour-mark GEORGE PEARE added a second from close range following a free kick.
Both sides had chances but neither was able to convert them due to some determined defending.
