Alexandru signed dual forms with the club from Worcester City in November 2017.
 
Worcester City signed up the Romanian defender from West Midlands League Premier Division side Smethwick Rangers.The centre-back has previously played in Romania's second tier – Liga II – with Dinamo II Bucuresti and had spells with National Sebis and AS Nova Mama Mia in his homeland.
 

After arriving in England, the 27-year-old joined Smethwick where he made 23 appearances, scoring four goals last season as they finished in 16th position.

He also captained them to West Midlands League Premier Division Cup glory in the 2015/16 campaign.
 
Alex rejoined the club after a short spell studying however owing to the travelling on match days Alex decided to move to a club nearer to where he lives
