Defender/Midfield
Gethin made 342 appearances for Bath City before returning to Wales to play for Port Talbot Town.From there he moved to the Corinium Stadium - appearing 56 times for the Centurions before moving to Merthyr Town in October 2015.
Earlier in his carrer he had played for Cardiff City.
Gethin re-joined on loan from Merthyr Town toward the back end of the 2016-17 season in an unsuccesful attempt to keep us in the premier division
