Born in Manchester, Comyn-Platt came up through the Youth system at Bolton Wanderers. He had a loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers where he played under then manager Tony Adams and then from 2005-2007 he played 24 games for Swindon Town under Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet.
After brief spells at Grays Athletic and Rochdale he spent 2007-2009 at Weston-Super-Mare in the Blue Square Conference South making 31 appearances.
More recently Charlie Comyn-Platt has been playing professionally in Australia for ECU Joondalup. Charlie will have to be patient on making his debut however as the club are waiting on his international clearance from the Australian Football Federation.
Charlie played only 6 times for the club before returning to Australia
