Matt is a versatile and skilful left-footed midfielder who can also play at left back.
He was part of the club's very first Academy intake, and went on to play for the first team as well as being a key member of the club's highly successful Hellenic League team, playing under the "Cirencester Academy" banner, who played such attractive football in winning the Division 1 title before establishing themselves in the Premier division.
Matt rejoined the club in October 2010, having played for Didcot Town for seven seasons during their hugely successful period when they gained promotions from the Hellenic League to the Southern League Division 1 S&W and then to the Premier division and also won the FA Vase.
Prior to joining Didcot Matt played for Highworth Town and Shrivenham.
Unfortunately, an injury brought an early end to Matt's season, and he chose not to come to the following pre-season training.
