Defender
Lyndon is a tough and experienced central defender who joined the club from Bishops Cleeve in August 2009.
He came through the junior ranks at Gloucester City before leaving to join Witney Town and then Cinderford Town. After recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, he had further spells at Gloucester City, Bishops Cleeve and Cinderford.
Lyndon is a natural leader on the pitch and he took over the captaincy of the team during the 2009-10 season, putting in many strong performances in defence as well as proving to be a major asset in set piece attacks, scoring many key goals, to become a key factor in our successful promotion back to the Southern League Premier divison via the Playoffs. At the end of Season Presentation Evening, he was deservedly awarded the Supporters' Player of the Season Award.
The 2010-11 season saw Lyndon help the club restablish themselves in mid-table of the Premier division with another series of influential performances.
Unfortunately at the end of the season, he decided to step down from Southern League football after playing 15 years at this level, because of the demands of bringing up a young family, and he joined Minsterworth in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.
