Jay progressed through the Forest Green Rovers academy and into their U18 side at the start of the 2017-2018 season and went on a 'work experience' loan to Hellenic League Premier Division side Longlevens in January 2019, scoring eight goals in 12 appearances.
He signed for Weston at the start of the 2019-20 season where he made 9 apperances, scoring a single goal. Left to sign for a club in a higher league
