Sam re-joined the club in 2015 from Royal Wootton Bassett, who he joined when he left the Cirencester Academy, and quickly established himself. He is a tough tackling player who could cause an arguement with himself, but is fiercely supportive of his team mates.
He was made Dev Squad Captain for the 2017-18 season, a role he takes very seriously and is very proud of. He has also taken the gloves when the team were short of a goalkeeper (and has managed to keep a clean sheet), and has been known to score the occasional goal, although if you listen to him they are all contendors for goal of the century!
He has made a few appearances from the bench for the first team.
A much valued member of the club Sam deceided to move on to paly at a higher level at the end of the 2019-20 season. We wish him well.
