Leigh Henry

From Swindon Town website:

Son of eighties Swindon Town legend Charlie, Henry's scholarship at the club started in 2003 - though disciplinary problems early in his time at Swindon threatened to ruin any chance of a professional contract. Gradually he settled down - and after a work experience spell at Bath City towards the end of the 2004/05 season, he was drafted into the first team in December 2006, when, with four defenders suspended, manager Iffy Onuora gave him a substitute's berth in an away match at Rotherham.

Though he didn't get on the field, and was yet to make a first team appearance, Onuora offered Henry a six month professional deal, with an option for a further six, when his scholarship expired at the end of the season.

Leigh joined Swindon Supermarine and also played for Bath City, Weston-super-Mare and Maidenhead United. Leigh was at the club for 4 seasons before leaving for Chippenham in March 2016.

He returned for one match in 2016 before retiring
