Ellis joined the Club at the age of four and played for the Junior teams from U6's to U16's before being part of the newly created Development Team at U17 level in 2009/10.
He made his First Team debut at age 15 years 5 months as a substitute in a County Senior Challenge Cup fixture during the 2008/09 season.
Ellis made three substitute appearances for the First Team during the 2010-11 season before making his first full appearance in March 2011 at home to Hednesford Town and marking it by being awarded the Four Pillars Man of the Match award.
A strong determined player who is good in the air and on the deck, able to play on either side of the pitch as he possesses two good feet, he has now established himself in the First Team and at the start of the 2015/16 season he had accumulated 135 starts and 22 substitute appearances, scoring 14 goals.
Ellis returned to the club from Australia at the back of the 2016-17 season and stayed for the first part of the 2017-18 season before returning to Australia
Ellis decided to move onto to local football as his work commitments meant he was no longer able to commit to the travel involved in the Southern League for the 2019-20 Season but returned to the Club for 2020-21.
