An exciting young striker who, whilst still in our Academy ranks made his first team debut in September 2009 and has made a big impression in a short space of time.
In the 2008-09 season, as a first year student, he was a key member of the successful Academy team that reached the Third Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup, only losing 2-1 away at Sunderland, and won the South West Counties Youth League. He was the Academy's top scorer with 34 goals during the season, and he also won the First Year Manager's Player of the Season Award.
In the 2009-10 season, Rob made a major contribution to our first team's promotion back to the Southern League Premier division, scoring eight goals including a last minute winner away at AFC Totton in our Play Off Semi Final victory.
Rob was planning to go to University in Southampton and left the club at the end of the 2010-11 season.
