Lee Spalding

Defender

D.O.B: 12th August 1972

Lee was one of the first players signed by manager Adi Viveash during the 2008 summer break from Highworth Town.

lee_spalding_cinderford.jpgHe was a young professional at Swindon Town before signing for Wycombe Wanderers. After two seasons at Wycombe, he then transferred to Forest Green where he stayed for 1 1/2 seasons. He then played for Evesham for a couple of years before taking a seven year break from football.

He then came out of retirement in 2006 and joined Highworth Town where he played in defence alongside fellow Centurion, Andy Minturn.

Lee is pictured on the right in the away match at Cinderford beating Neil Griffiths to the ball.

Unfortunately niggling injuries limited his appearances for us during the 2008-09 season, but when he did play he always showed what a class player he was.

He left the club in June 2009 after being offered the Assistant Manager's role at Highworth Town. He has since moved on to become manager of Swindon Supermarine.
