Tom signed for Cirencester from local rivals Swindon Supermarine in the summer of 2009 with our previous keeper, Matt Bulman, going in the opposite direction. He made 244 appearances in 5 years at Supermarine and was their Manager's Player of the Year last season.

He started at Forest Green Rovers as a youngster, had a brief spell at Gloucester City, then moved through local 5th Level clubs Shortwood United, Witney and Highworth Town before his move to Swindon Supermarine.

Tom marked his league debut for us with a superb penalty save at Uxbridge on the opening day of the season. (pictured right)

Tom was a hugely popular player with the fans and he was awarded the Four Pillars Man of the Match Award for the 2008-09 season after gaining the highest number of home MOM Awards during the season.

In June 2009, at the end of his one year contract with us, he left the club to join our Southern League rivals, Bishops Cleeve.
