The SVYFL currently supports 70 local youth football clubs, over 300 teams, and help over 5,000 local boys and girls to enjoy organised, safe, regular football matches every season. The league was formed in 2016 following a merger of the old Gloucester and Stroud Youth Leagues. 
 
The SVYFL is an England Accredited League and are proud to be the previous winners of the Gloucestershire FA League of the Year award in 2017.
