He was a key member of the Academy team in the 2008-09 season which progressed all the way through to the Third Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup losing narrowly, 2-1, to last season's semi-finalists, Sunderland, at the Stadium of Light.

On the right, Adam is pictured punching the ball away under pressure in our away match at Slough during the 2008-09 season.

In the summer of 2009, after he finished at the Academy, Adam left the club and started the next pre-season at Shrivenham FC, playing against us in a pre-season friendly.
