CIRENCESTER TOWN V BRADFORD TOWN LADIES

CIRENCESTER TOWN LADIES 3 BRADFORD TOWN 0

With a number of players out of position, Ciren started brightly and confidently dominating the play.

From early on, the Ladies were presented with countless chances from both open play and set plays. However, yet again they failed to capitalize the pressure until an excellent corner from Chaos allowed Geoff to convert extending her neck under pressure to score with a well placed, firm header.

This then spurred the team on with Adlington hitting the back of the net with a good passing shot, and Bennett firing home a long range shot which surprised the Bradford keeper.

The second half saw the Centurions again dictating play with Vickers working tirelessly, and Senior making numerous assists. Messenger and Chaos controlled the game well in the centre of the park.

The defence kept occasional dangers at bay, turning defence into attack with Dunn and Wadd sending soaring balls through to the front two.

The Ladies failed to convert in the second half, but a good, solid performance from all bought them another three points.

Senior won Player of the Match.
