HOW TO FIND THE CORINIUM

We are open during business hours, Monday to Friday, as well as virtually every evening during the year. However, if you'd prefer to check that we are open or to confirm how to find us, do phone. The number is at the bottom of this page.

If you would prefer written information rather than following a map then this is how you find us:

Come off the dual carriageway, the Cirencester North-South outer bypass which links the M4 at Swindon with the M5 at Gloucester. That road is identified on the road signs and road maps as A419(T) from Swindon or A417(T) from the M5.

Come off the bypass at the Stow-in-the-Wold / Cirencester junction.

At that junction, take the turning from the roundabouts towards Cirencester Town Centre, going down the hill for about half a mile, passing a BP fuel stop on the left.

BEFORE you reach the roundabout for the old (inner) ring road, look for and take the little slip road left, aiming for Lechlade / Ampney Crucis, an old fashioned road sign telling you it is the A417. If you miss it, go all the way around the inner ring road roundabout and come back up 100 yards or so to now go right ... it is London Road.

Follow the road for about half a mile, passing the housing estates left and right. Before you cross the road bridge over the outer by-pass, turn right along Kingshill, signposted for Cirencester Town FC and Arena. Ground is half a mile on the right, past Kingshill School and the Council Playing Fields.

And this is where we are within Cirencester: apologies that the road names are a bit tiny. We shall sort this out soon.

OR - IF YOU PREFER TO USE THE BUS TO REACH CIRENCESTER
National Express buses run from Cheltenham to Ciren and continue on to London Victoria, stopping in the Town Centre. There are also local, (infrequent) services from Swindon and Cheltenham to Cirencester Market Place. It is a 20 minute stroll to the ground from the Market Place - longer if you go via The Wheatsheaf or The Golden Farm (half way to the ground so a convenient pit-stop)

AND, THERE IS ALWAYS THE TRAIN ...
The nearest railway station is Kemble, on the Swindon - Cheltenham Inter-City link line. Frequent service from London Paddington.

It is possible to catch a bus from Kemble Station but the service is infrequent and not always to timetable as shown in Kemble Station car park. And, the last bus back from Cirencester is 6pm, which is not too clever for football fans. One of the joys of Maggies privatisations seems to be that bus services in the sticks do not exist.

We are linked with Two & Fro Taxis in Ciren 01285 641 973. Give them a call to meet your train and they'll do you a good deal.

Dependent on the time and season of the year the rate is around £13. Cheaper for club members. Pick up would probably be from the Railway Inn which sells good beer and food, and is outside the platform arrival from Swindon.
