NICE TOUCH FROM THE BASHLEY CLUB TONIGHT

Bashley, new into the Premier Division this season, were thoughtful enough to have a whip round before their visit to us tonight and their Chair, Ray Pinney, handed over £100 for our Lloydy Cancer campaign. Very much appreciated, that.

Not many clubs, coming to a night match and making a 100 mile journey, would think that far ahead, especially when they are in the middle of an intense campaign to secure a play-off spot.

Though they play a no-prisoners rough, tough West Midlands type of football it is nice to know that they don't forget that non-league football is a family and we all pull together.
