CIRENCESTER TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB - C T F C
The Corinium Stadium was developed when we realised, in the late 1990's, that we had to move away from a restricted site where we could focus only on our First Team with the Juniors and Ladies playing on pitches scattered around the town.
With guidance and matching funding from the Football Foundation and, thanks to the vision of our founders, realising the land asset that we owned, the Kingshill location was developed. In 2003 the whole club moved onto a single site with 3 full size pitches and 4 other Junior pitches.
Football is a sport that develops people, from boys and girls into adulthood, and fosters life long friendships. We believe it should be played properly and we support the campaign developing across the country that coaching must be linked to the development of people as well as footballing skills.

Cirencester Town Football Club is a not-for-profit Members Club. We do not have shareholders to satisfy. Our Committee members do not have any financial rights in or direct ownership of the Club. Ownership is vested with the Trustees of the Club. Every penny we generate goes directly into local football.
Community Football - The Way Forward
The Management Committee of CTFC has planned a long term, secure future for football in Cirencester. We have an exceptionally strong Balance Sheet. We own our stadium and training facilities, as well as The Arena - the biggest indoor football facility south of Manchester. The Arena not only provides a superb indoor training surface but hosts very competitive 6 a side Leagues that play year round.
The First Team plays at semi-professional level in The Southern League Premier Division, level 3 of the non-league football pyramid.
The Ladies Team won the Gloucestershire County Women’s League in season 2004-05 and now play in the Womens South West Regional League Division 1, North. This year the Girls U16 team play in the very competitive Gloucester Girls League
The Cirencester Football Academy players complete College courses as well as developing their football skills. The Academy teams play in high level regional Youth Leagues as well as in the national Colleges League and frequently progress to the later rounds in the FA Youth Cup.
We have over 300 Junior players, who play small sided games up to age 8 and then progress into local leagues up to U18 - currently we play in the Cirencester and District Youth League, Midland Junior Premier Football League, the North Wilts League, the Swindon and District Youth League and the Cheltenham Youth League.
Many of our Academy and Youth Team players have progressed to play for our first team, which embeds our vision that local people can take their footballing ambitions to the highest level of which they are capable. Many of our players have moved on to Football League clubs. Others progress into our First Team while others join local non-league clubs. There is, therefore, an emphasis at CTFC on youth. We are offering Football at all levels to as many young people as possible.
This is our contribution to the Community. We hope that as many local people, organisations and businesses as possible will support us. By working together we can take Community involvement in football to the highest level and in 2006 we achieved the coveted Community Club Charter status, the most widely recognised standard in organised football.
