Adulai Sambu scores another hat-trick against Ware
Pitching In Southern League
Division 1 Central
Cirencester Town 3 - 0 Ware FC
The latest visitors to The Corinium Stadium were high-flying Ware FC and after a solid performance from The Centurions they took all 3 points with the returning Adulai Sambu recorded his second hat-trick against the visitors.
Playing towards The Arena end of the ground, and into the strong wind, Cirencester took the game to their visitors who countered quickly when misplaced passes were intercepted but the home defence were in determined mood to snuff out the danger.
The game was ‘nip and tuck’ and just after the half hour mark Reegan Messenger sent the ball to the edge of the Ware box where ADULAI SAMBU collected and was challenged but the ball rebounded kindly for him to finish into an empty net.
Leading up to the interval Cirencester created a number of openings but the resulting shots were too close to the Ware ‘keeper.
Cirencester started strongly after the break with several shots being blocked in the opening ten minutes and shortly afterwards ADULAI SAMBU added a second as his shot took a deflection en-route to the back of the net.
Three minutes later a strong run from Ellis Dunton took him to the corner where he squared the ball to ADULAI SAMBU who placed his shot narrowly wide of the right post but almost immediately he made amends as he controlled the ball on his chest, turned and struck a fierce left footed shot into the top left corner.
Ware probed for a period but found it difficult to penetrate the home defence whilst their hosts created a number of chances.
