The Centurions travelled across the country for a mid-week league fixture against BIGGLESWADE FC who ground-share with Bedford Town and after a promising first half the scores were tied at 1-1 but two second half goals from their hosts secured the three points.
The home side opened the scoring after 15 minutes when JACK DREYER was able to guide an Adam Hunt cross into the net but Cirencester recovered to press and NICK PEARE equalised with a ‘bullet’ header from a Joe Turley corner kick.
Biggleswade added another goal seven minutes into the second period when LAWRENCE MARSH managed to guide the ball into the net from a tight angle.
The home side completed the scoring shortly after the mid-point of the second half when Tom Coles controlled a long clearance to put ALEXANDER MARSH through and he did the rest.
