Levi Irving brace secures a place in the next round of The FA Cup

The Emirates FA Cup

First Qualifying Round

Larkhall Athletic  0 - 2 Cirencester Town

Following two hard-fought cup-ties against Clevedon Town it was a trip to familiar territory for The Centurions as they travelled to meet former League adversaries LARKHALL ATHLETIC in a First Qualifying Round fixture of The Emirates FA Cup and it took a Levi Irving brace mid-way through the second period to decide the outcome.

With a strong wind against them the visitors worked hard to take the game to their hosts who often over-hit their passes when they countered but at the interval it was all-square as neither goal-keeper had been seriously tested.

With the wind now behind them Cirencester came out of the blocks quickly to threaten the home goal and around the hour a back-pedalling James Walker pushed an Ellis Dunton effort over his cross-bar and at the mid-point LEVI IRVING latched onto a loose ball to slip it under Walker into the net.

Five minutes later LEVI IRVING scored his second as he converted a Joe Shepherd knock-down from near the Penalty Spot.
