FA Cup competitions early round draws

Taken from www.thefa.com

THE FA CUP

Less than a month after the 2019-20 competition concluded, 368 teams are set to kick-off a new season in the Emirates FA Cup on Tuesday 1 September.

The draws for the 184-tie extra preliminary round and subsequent preliminary round, where a further 136 teams enter the competition, have now been published.

As is typical for this stage of the Emirates FA Cup, both draws were broken down into ten geographical regions in order to minimise travel distances where possible.

Six of the 20 clubs making their first-ever appearances in the competition have been drawn against one-another: Billingshurst v Westside; Park View v Hashtag United; and Wythenshawe Amateurs v Shelley.

The 168 winners from the extra preliminary round will each receive £1,125 in prize money and go into the preliminary round, which takes place on Saturday 12 September.

The 80 teams who are successful in the preliminary round will earn £1,444 each and head into the first round qualifying, which is scheduled for Tuesday 22 September.

The full list of round dates for the 2020-21 Emirates FA Cup campaign can be found here, with details of this season's prize fund here.

We have been working closely with the Government on the return of spectators at football matches at FA National League System level and will provide an update on this in due course.

Cirencester enter the competition at the Preliminary round and have been drawn away at Roman Glass St George or Flackwell Heath.

In the event of a draw the match will be resolved via a penalty shoot out

THE BUILDBASE FA TROPHY

We have been drawn at home against Paulton Rovers in the 1st Qualifying Round to be played on September 26th

THE FA YOUTH CUP

There are 546 clubs entering England's most prestigious competition for U18s this term and it started with 179 ties in the preliminary round.

Last season's Youth Cup came to a thrilling conclusion with Liverpool lifting the trophy after a penalty shootout victory over Manchester City.

Players eligible for this season's Youth Cup must've been born on or after 1 September 2001 and before 1 September 2004.

We have been drawn away against Shrivenham in the Preliminary Round and at home against Malmesbury Victoria in the First Round Qualifying if they progress
