Latest interview with Charlie by Paul Joannou of the Wilts and Glos Standard

Cirencester Town boss Charlie Griffin hailed his players achievement after they scored their 100th league goal in their 5-0 against Street. Alan Griffin and Owen Windsor scored twice to put the Centurions on 99 before Jack Freeman netted the landmark goal in the 90th minute.

Griffin was pleased with how clinical his team were in the second half where they scored four after they wasted chances in the first half and praised his squad notching up a century of goals.

"It's some achievement to get 100 in a season or in any season it's fantastic," said Griffin.

"We got that early goal and I wanted to kick on, we've had a few chances and came in at 1-0 so I said at half time that we need to be a bit more ruthless in that final third.

"In the second half we were excellent, the way we moved on and off the ball so it's great to get five goals and it's off our back now, not that we were looking for it but it's nice and we can move on to next we because we've got a massive game."

Cirencester climbed to third, above next week's opponents Moneyfields, who play tomorrow and Griffin admitted his troops are eyeing the teams above but insists there is still a long way to go. "We've gone third and they play tomorrow so I'll go to watch them at Evesham," Griffin commented.

"If they get a draw we're still on top because of our goal difference and then we go into that game and if we get something then it pushes us ahead.

"We've got to be mindful that we haven't got nowehere yet, I told the lads that and there's still a long way to go.

"Just because we've won, we haven't done anything yet, even if we get in those play offs there's some good teams in this league and if the teams that are in there at the minute are in there it's going to be some sort of push so we need to make sure we have our heads on next week."
