Cirencester on wrong end of 8-goal thriller.
Evo-Stik Southern League 2018/19
Division 1 South
Cirencester Town 3 – 5 Paulton Rovers
Cirencester conceded four goals in the opening 30 minutes to last week’s conquerors of league leaders Yate Town and went to the interval 4-1 down.
A glancing header from RYAN GAY after 7 minutes followed by a clinical finish from DEAN EVANS and two penalties converted by JACK BALL did the damage before BEN WHITEHEAD pulled one back from the penalty spot for Cirencester.
After the break ALAN GRIFFIN and JACK FREEMAN added to the Cirencester tally as the home side bombarded the Paulton goal but in their eagerness to find an equaliser they were caught on the counter for JACK BALL to complete his hat-trick and end Cirencester hopes of at least a point from the encounter.
