Latest news from Jon Palmer at the Gloucester Echo

Goalkeeper Mateusz Wieczorek is set to leave Bishop's Cleeve and sign for Gloucestershire rivals Cirencester Town.

The Polish number one, known as 'Matt', joined Cleeve from Northern Senior League club Smiths Athletic in the summer of 2015

He handled the step up in standard extremely well and has been among the Kayte Lane club's top performers for the past two seasons.

Former Wales international Glyn Garner, 40, finished last season as Cirencester's number one after returning to the club from Merthyr Town and taking the place of Harvey Rivers, who left to join Yate Town.

Cirencester have so far this summer seen captain Mat Liddiard leave to join Evesham United.
