Three more vital points for Cirencester with home victory against Redditch United.

Cirencester Town 2 – 1 Redditch United
Cirencester got off to the perfect start when they opened the scoring in the first minute and buoyed by their early success they dominated the first half in their bid to remain in the Premier Division next season.
After the interval it became a little scrappy, and at times a tetchy affair, with a player from each side being dismissed – perhaps a little harshly.
The visitors kicked off but DAN DEMKIV intercepted a pass across their back line and produced an unstoppable shot from 25 yards that flew into the top right corner to give the home side an immediate lift in this vital encounter. 1-0.
A few minutes later Aidan Bennett flashed a shot narrowly wide of the left post as Cirencester continued to push forward, dominating possession.
Just before the mid-point Redditch managed to block a series of shots to keep them at bay and as the half entered the final ten minutes they mounted a counter attack down their right flank that required a solid pair of hands from Glyn Garner to block a fierce shot from Dior Angus at his left post.
Five minutes after the interval Aidan Bennett and Jordan Cullinane-Liburd were involved in an ‘hand-bags’ incident that led to the dismissal of them both.
Cirencester doubled their score at the mid-point of the half when ALAN GRIFFIN headed home at the back post. 2-0.
Eleven minutes later Redditch pulled a goal back as they threw caution to the wind with a neat move down their left flank and a cross to DIOR ANGUS who headed back across goal to score inside the left post. 2-1.
The visitors pressed during the final five minutes but Cirencester were determined to keep the three points and their hopes of survival alive.
