The Welsh connection is re-established

As reported by Jon Palmer in the Gloucester Echo

Former Wales international goalkeeper Glyn Garner has joined Cirencester Town on loan from fellow Southern Premier League side Merthyr Town.

Defender Gethin Jones has also returned on loan for his second spell at The Centurions from the Welsh team .

Both have previously been at the club before and were becoming frustrated recently due to a lack of game time.

Merthyr boss Gavin Williams has let them join Cirencester to get some minutes, subject to international clearance, but they can be recalled back if needed.
