Cirencester Town boss Charlie Griffin wants to make it four points from two games as his side take on mid-table Kettering at The Corinium Stadium this Saturday.
The Centurions drew 1-1 with fellow Evo-Stik Southern Premier strugglers St Neots in the week, and Griffin is insisting that the draw will turn out to be a good one if they can get a result this weekend.
"We didn't lose and we could have won it at the end when we had a few chances, but when you're down and around the bottom like both of us are then you know they won't give you anything," he said.
"A point is good, and it'll be even better if we can make it four points from two games by beating Kettering. We know they're an experienced team and they've got some fantastic players who have played at National League level and above, so there's no doubting that it will be a tough game. But we're at home so we will be going out to get the win, and I know the boys will be up for it."
Griffin was also full of praise for his brother, Alan, and fellow new signing Dan Demkiv since they've come into the club.
"He (Alan) has come in and scored, his strength has given us something different up front and the lads are starting to get to know him and what he's about. Dan has also done well, and he was good the other night. I've known him for a few weeks now and I'm really pleased with how he's doing."
The Cirencester manager also insisted that he's content with his team at the moment, and that nobody will be brought in before this weekend's game.
"There won't be anybody coming in because the squad is looking strong at the moment," he said. The defence is good, I've got a goalkeeper and options everywhere on the pitch and they're all doing well. Of course you're always looking at ways you can improve, but we're happy with things at the moment."
