Ollie Knight has left the Corinium and signed for Frome Town

It has now been confirmed that Ollie Knight has signed for rivals Frome Town.
The former Forest Green Academy player, who joined Cirencester in June 2015, was the subject of interest from Frome who were keen to tie him down on a permanent deal to boost their attacking options. A tricky player with bags of pace and energy, Knight could be a gamechanger for Frome and will no doubt be keen to make an instant impact.
Son of ex-Centurions coach Keith Knight, winger Ollie made 17 league appearances for Cirencester this season, scoring one goal.
Charlie is confident of adding a winger from a National League club and two strikers from National League North/South to his squad this week. He is hopeful the wide player will be in before Tuesday night's home match against Dorchester Town.
Cirencester were beaten 6-0 at Biggleswade Town on Saturday, despite an impressive debut in goal for new signing Raajan Gill.
Midfielder Henry Spalding also appeared for the first time, but the new faces could not prevent Griffin's side suffering an 11th defeat of the season.
"We had possession, but didn't do enough with it and didn't work their goalkeeper," Griffin said. Obviously at the other end, we gave easy goals away and teams are not having to work hard enough to score against us. Raajan was superb and Henry also did okay in midfield, but we have to be far more ruthless at both ends of the pitch."
Alfie Kilgour was last week recalled by parent club Bristol Rovers and Griffin said it was unlikely he will be able to bring the central defender back for another loan spell.
"You are always going to miss someone like Alfie, who doesn't take any messing," Griffin said. He is a big, strong lad and we need to be stronger all over the park."
