Cirencester win pre-season friendly match at neighbours Fairford Town.

Cirencester made the short journey to neighbours Fairford Town for their third pre-season friendly match with a squad that included former players Chris Taylor and Lee Smith and recorded their first pre-season victory .
Fairford opened the scoring at the mid-point of the first half when JASON MILHENCH struck a swerving strike from 25 yards but this was cancelled out three minutes later as CHARLIE GRIFFIN headed home from close range.
Cirencester took the lead six minutes into the second half when LEE SMITH headed home a cross from the Cirencester right flank.

The next pre-season fixture for The Centurions is at The Corinium Stadium against Cheltenham Town who won promotion back to the Football League at the end of last season.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7.45pm on Thursday 14th July.
