Bristol Rovers XI awarded late penalty to snatch a draw at Cirencester in latest Pre-Season Friendly match.
Pre-Season Friendly
Cirencester Town 1 - 1 Bristol Rovers
In a match full of endeavour and passing football, despite the extremely hot conditions (especially for an evening game), the honours remained even as Bristol Rovers were awarded a fortunate penalty four minutes from the end and levelled the score-line.
JAMIE LUCAS stepped up to convert the penalty kick to counter the headed goal scored mid-way through the second half by Cirencester’s AIDAN BENNETT.
