Cirencester share six goals in the final league match of the Season at Histon.

Histon  3 - 3  Cirencester Town

Cirencester made the long journey to Cambridgeshire for the final match of the Season to play against Histon who have already been confirmed for relegation from the Division.

The visitors looked the more likely to score during the opening half hour with Histon having to rely on counter attacks but the home side finished the half well and opened the scoring just before the interval when ROGAN McGEORGE collected a clearance of his own cross and shot home from just outside the penalty area. 1-0.

The second half started at a frantic pace as Cirencester pushed forward in search of an equaliser but it was the home side who increased their led after Cirencester failed to clear the high bouncing ball on the edge of their area and MATTY ALLAN nipped in to chip an advancing Josh Langley from the edge of the box.  2-0.

The final fifteen minutes produced four goals as CHARLIE GRIFFIN followed an Ollie Knight chip shot that was fumbled by the home 'keeper and managed to bundle it over the line.  2-1.

Six minutes later CHARLIE GRIFFIN latched onto a long ball on the front edge of the box and managed to round his marker before firing his shot across the 'keeper and inside the left post.  2-2.

As the game was drawing to a close JOE CARDEN collected a through ball on the edge of the box, turned and shot inside the left post.  3-2.

In 'added time' and with time rapidly running out Cirencester pressed forward and were rewarded when AIDAN BENNETT sent a firm strike from the left side edge of the area that cleared the 'keeper to enter the net inside the right post.  3-3.
