Cirencester lose to lively Slough.

Cirencester Town  1 - 3  Slough Town

The Centurions were defeated by a lively Slough side at the Corinium Stadium in their latest Premier Division mid-week fixture.

In a frantic opening half hour Slough opened the scoring with a near post header from LEE BARNEY and held onto the lead until the interval.

Within two minutes of the re-start Slough increased their lead when a looping header from EDWARD SMITH cleared Josh Langley to drop into the back of the net.

The Rebels scored their third goal following a Cirencester corner as they made a quick counter attack for LEE BARNEY to tuck his shot inside the right post.

Cirencester pulled a goal back as MARK PRITCHETT bundled the ball over the line from close range in the 78th minute but the visitors continued to look dangerous on the counter and should have scored another on the final whistle.
