Cirencester return from Bedworth with 3 vital points.

Bedworth United  0 - 1  Cirencester Town

The Centurions travelled to the Midlands for a game on the 3G pitch of Bedworth and scored in the 5th minute when the home keeper fumbled a firm shot from Zack Kotwica and the loose ball was quickly collected and fed to CHARLIE GRIFFIN who finished from 2 yards.

The game became end to end with neither side posing any real threat on their opponent’s goal.

The weather deteriorated in the second half as heavy rain began to fall making the artificial pitch very slippery which meant neither side retained the ball for long.

During the final quarter Cirencester created a couple of good opportunities with Griffin and Langworthy released for clear shots at goal but both were wide of the target.
