Poole Town too strong for Cirencester.

Poole Town  3 - 0  Cirencester Town

Second placed Poole Town dominated most of the game to complete a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cirencester.

The Dolphins started strongly and Cirencester had to withstand some early pressure before eventually working their way into the game towards the end of the first half with Zack Kotwica having the best opportunity to open the scoring when Charlie Griffin put him through for a 1v1 with the ‘keeper. Nick Hutchings in the home goal saved both his attempts and the teams went to the interval level.

On the hour Poole scored the opening goal when Luke Burbidge crossed from the right to the back post where STEVE DEVLIN ghosted in on the blind side to convert with a volley from a yard.

As Cirencester pushed forward to get the goal back they were exposed to quick counter attacks and from one such counter attack they were awarded a free kick 25 yards out that STEVE DEVLIN placed inside the bottom right post.

With five minutes remaining Poole mounted a break down their left resulting in a cross that found its way across the 6 yard box for TOBY HOLMES to tap home from a yard.
