Cirencester overcome North Leigh to go through to the next round of the FA Trophy.

Cirencester Town  2 - 0  North Leigh

Cirencester met high flying North Leigh of the South & West Division in the First Round Qualifying of the FA Trophy and secured a hard earned 2-1 victory.

CHARLIE GRIFFIN opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a well taken header from a Ross Langworthy corner kick and five minutes into the second half the lead was increased when LEIGH HENRY headed another Langworthy corner home at the near post.

North Leigh scored with 20 minutes to go through a terrific strike from JAMIE COOK to produce an exciting finale to the game as they pushed forward for an equaliser but Cirencester held on to move into the next round.
