Cirencester knocked out of the FA Cup at Petersfield

Emirates FA Cup 2015/16  - Second Round Qualifying

PETERSFIELD TOWN  3 - 1  CIRENCESTER TOWN

Cirencester were knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup at the Second Round Qualifying stage by Southern League Central opponents Petersfield Town.

The home side took the lead after 6 minutes when JOE BRIGGS tucked a crossfield pass inside the far left post.

Cirencester equalised a minute after the interval as CHARLIE GRIFFIN placed a free kick inside the near right post.

Petersfield regained the lead just after the hour as HOWARD NEIGHBOUR headed a right wing corner kick into the roof of the net from the edge of the 6 yard box.

As Cirencester pushed forward for an equaliser JOE BRIGGS broke away for the home side to seal the victory on the stroke of full time.

CONGRATULATIONS to Petersfield - we wish you Good Luck in the next round.
