Cirencester's victory against Merthyr Town keeps them second in the Premier Division Table - on goal difference.

Cirencester Town   1  -  0   Merthyr Town

A second solid performance in three days resulted in Cirencester obtaining the three points against Merthyr Town to bring them level with table-topping Chippenham Town after seven games played.

In a hard fought, end-to-end contest of entertaining and committed football CHARLIE GRIFFIN scored the vital goal for The Centurions in the 82nd minute.
