The Centurions return from their latest pre-season friendly at Slimbridge with a narrow victory.
Pre-Season Friendly
Slimbridge 0 - 1 Cirencester Town
Cirencester returned from their visit to Southern League newcomers Slimbridge with a narrow victory in their latest friendly match.
Ross Langworthy scoring the only goal of the game in the 56th minute.
The very dry and rock hard pitch, combined with a diagonal cross-wind, made it difficult to play any attractive or composed football but it was a good work-out on a warm afternoon for the players.

Next Saturday (25th July) The Centurions have two away games - one against Longlevens and the other Tuffley Rovers - and players from both the First Team and Development Team will be involved.
Both Longlevens and Tuffley Rovers were promoted to the Hellenic League Premier Division at the end of last season and have links with Cirencester - Longlevens are managed by James French (Arena Manager) and Tuffley Rovers by Warren Evans (former First Team Coach).
