Cirencester finish in 8th place in the Premier Division following victory over Burnham

Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division

Cirencester Town 1 – 0  Burnham

Cirencester Town finished their first season back in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier with a 1-0 win at home to Burnham to secure a creditable 8th place in the league just four points away from a Play Off place.

Ciren dominated play for long periods but a hard working Burnham side gave a good account of themselves and it took until the 57th minute for Ciren to unlock their defence through a well taken goal by Josh Parsons

Ciren now play Shortwood United this coming Tuesday evening 28th April 2015 in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Trophy Final to be held at Gloucestershire FA's Headquarters in Alomdsbury, near Bristol. Kick off is at 7:45pm.

Come along and support the players as they try to finish what has been a highly successful 2014-15 season with a Cup Final win against our local rivals against whom we always have hard fought and entertaining matches.
