Cirencester Town Under 14 player, Rhys Sarson, offered six week Academy trial with Bristol City

Cirencester Town FC are delighted to announce that Rhys Sarson, a key member our Under 14 Junior Premier League team, has been offered a 6 week trial with Bristol City FC Academy.

If successful, Rhys will be offered a place at Bristol City’s Academy. Rhys has been watched by a number of clubs this season, but Bristol City acted first !

Everyone at the club and his squad are particularly pleased for and proud of Rhys’s achievement.

His back story is an inspiration and wonderful example of what’s possible through hard work, dedication, and the ability to fight through adversity and personal setbacks.

Rhys joined Cirencester as an 11 year old who had just been let go/released by his home town club side, he found a home at Cirencester who nurtured his talent, rebuilt his confidence, and gave him the tools and the opportunity to develop and blossom into the 40 goal a season player he has become.

His Cirencester Town coach, Arthur Jupp, said “ Rhys is great example of what can be achieved when turning adversity into an opportunity, we will miss our skipper and top goal scorer enormously, but I could not be happier for Rhys and his family, and we wish him well on his new exciting journey”

If you think you could follow in Rhys footsteps, contact Arthur Jupp at Cirencester Town 07730 487080, as they begin the process of assembling next season's Junior Premier League Under15s squad.
