Cirencester defeat Bristol City U21s after penalty shoot-out in County Cup

Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Trophy – Quarter Final

Cirencester Town 1  - 1 Bristol City U21’s   

(Cirencester won 4 - 3 on Penalties)

Cirencester Town hosted this Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Trophy Quarter Final tie against Bristol Ciry U21s on a freezing cold evening at the Corinium Stadium.

Cirencester went ahead just before half-time through Josh Parsons but Bristol equalised deep into final injury time through a well-taken goal by Jamie Horgan.

The match then went straight to a Penalty Shootout which Ciren won 4-3 to progress to a home Semi-Final against Bristol Rovers.
