Ciren climb to second after dominant win at Slough
Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division
Slough Town 1 – 2 Cirencester Town
On Tuesday, Cirencester Town travelled to play Slough Town who groundshare with Beaconsfield SYCOB.
They made a disastrous start by going a goal down within the first minute with Ed Smith scoring for Slough.
However, Ciren soon settled and came roaring back, playing some great football, equalising with a well-taken goal by Nat Jarvis on 16 mins, a minute after he had a penalty kick saved.
Ciren then went ahead on 27 mins through a bullet header by Gethin Jones.
They maintained their grip on the game throughout the second half, creating several chances, and were unlucky not to win by a greater margin.
